The Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV course developed by the Child Care Health Program of Public Health – Seattle & King County and Puget Sound Educational Services District’s Early Learning Outreach Program (ELOP).

This course is based upon Washington State laws and regulations that pertain to child care and occupational health and safety.  This course should be supplemented with an annual worksite-specific bloodborne pathogens update, provided by your employer. The certificate of completion will be awarded through The Child Care Health Program of Public Health – Seattle & King County.

All course work and assignments will be completed ONLINE.

Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Shortly after this you will receive an additional email containing your login, password and link to the online class. This could take up to 1 day. If you need immediate assistance please call Liz Reed 425-917-7737.

We highly recommend completing this course in one session. It will take approximately two hours for successful course completion, including the quizzes and course evaluation. You can stop and restart at any time if necessary.
