Dr. Preciado’s teaching and research focuses on improving literacy outcomes for students struggling in literacy. He recently co-authored an article on the importance of mastering reading fluency in early education and as well as one regarding practices for improving literacy outcomes for Latino English Learners. At SPU he currently teaches courses in Teaching Reading to Exceptional Student and Special Education Assessment.
